Bronwyn Hack’s practice is multi-faceted, spanning sculpture, painting, printmaking and ceramics. Her two-dimensional works merge subject and background into a unified linear perspective, reflecting her distinctive approach to composition. Throughout her career, Hack has consistently explored themes involving animals—particularly dogs—as well as the body and bones. Her soft sculptures use brightly coloured threads, faux fur, beads, and sequins to create anatomical forms, adding a playful, tactile quality. Hack’s ceramic works similarly draw on themes of animals, anatomy, and popular culture, tying together her diverse artistic interests.
