Doreen Youlten is an emerging artist creating energetic abstracts adorned with layered shapes and mark making.
Working with both embroidery and on paper Youlten utilises a bold colour palette and has an experimental approach to mediums and techniques. Her interest in planes, figures, Disney characters and aerial views are the inspiration for her imagery.
Youlten has exhibited in several group shows with Arts Project Australia including Pleased To Meet You (2020), Collective Memory (2020) and the Annual Gala (2018-2019). Her work is held in private collections throughout Australia.
