Diego Pizarro is an emerging artist whose work draws inspiration from comics and popular culture.
Working across photography, drawing, and painting, Diego is passionate about exploring new spaces and building connections with people through his practice. Recently, he has been experimenting with analogue photography, capturing portraits for his series Everyone Can Be a Superhero, which highlights Pizarro’s belief that everyone has a unique superpower waiting to be discovered.
Diego joined Arts Project Australia’s Satellite Art Program in 2021 and currently participates in the Studio Program, continuing to evolve his practice and creative voice.
