Ashlee Cochrane is an emerging figurative artist who works small-scale in a range of media on paper as well as textiles.
She is influenced by animals, still life installations and investigating self-portraiture that translate into collages and outline stencils, stitched soft sculptures and colourful embroideries. Her sculptural works are highly resolved and have an interesting mix of textiles and forms.
Cochrane has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2008. She has been featured in a number of group exhibitions in Melbourne and her work is held in private collections in Australia.
