We are excited to reveal the details about Art to Roam — a global online auction bringing people and animals together to appreciate extraordinary humans and be part of a solution to save Africa’s iconic elephants.
Never before have artists from supported studios joined forces to produce a global art auction, which will benefit not only the artists but also protect Africa’s wild animals and the places they call home. We’re so proud to promote artists represented by international supported studios featured in this global event – the proceeds of which will benefit the artists and the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW)’s critical conservation project in Africa; Room to Roam.
This global live event is a unique collaboration between IFAW, Australian auction house Leonard Joel and supported studios around the world. It is the first event of its kind.
Art to Roam will take place on and to celebrate World Animal Day (Tuesday 5 October 7am – AEST, AU / Monday 4 October 4pm – NYC, USA / Monday 4 October 1pm – CA, USA / Monday 4 October 9pm – London, UK) and will be virtually screened for people around the world to unite and raise funds for this remarkable cause. Please visit www.ifaw.org/arttoroam for more information.
Arts Project Australia artists featured in the auction include Robert Brown, Michael Camakaris, Alan Constable, Leo Cussen (1959 – 2015), Julian Martin, Chris Mason, Rebecca Scibilia, and Cathy Staughton.
