ACCA | Who’s Afraid of Public Space?

APA is pleased to partner with ACCA for Who’s Afraid of Public Space? a multifaceted project of exhibitions and programs exploring the role of public culture, the contested nature of public space, and the character and composition of public life from 4 December 2021 – 20 March 2022.

Taking place at ACCA and extending across the city through a series of installations and projects in the public realm, plus satellite exhibitions in collaboration with cultural partners including Arts Project Australia.

APA’s project To the Street is a  public art offering in the City of Yarra that considers collaboration, visibility, connectivity and access for all. APA artists Eden Menta, Jenny Ngo, James MacSporran, Joey Balliro, Anthony Romagnano and Boris Cipusev will collaborate with local Melbourne artists Mikaela StaffordNatalie JurrjensRhys Lee and Jacquie Munoz to create a series of street interventions in the Collingwood area.
