During SPRING1883 Arts Project Australia will present a small collection of lyrical, inventive and tactile work that speaks to personal and domestic themes. Ultimately responding to the Windsor Hotel Room, the display will feature work by twelve emerging, mid career and established artists, reflecting upon the diversity, nuances and expressiveness of Arts Project’s artists.
By drawing upon tropes such memory, site, personal experience and domesticity, the presentation will introduce collectors and art-lovers to vibrant pieces in a focused setting.
Over the four days we’ll display a unique and idiosyncratic collection spanning painting, drawing, soft sculpture and ceramics, including works by Alvaro Alvarez, John Bates, Boris Cipusev, Emily Dober, Paul Hodges, Kate Knight, Adrian Lazzaro, Chris Mason, Chris O’Brien, Warren O’Brien, Lisa Reid, Georgia Szmerling, Amani Tia and Terry Williams.
SPRING1883 offers free admission during its public opening hours.
