Robert Brown

Robert Brown (b 1953, Melbourne) is an accomplished abstract painter whose work is characterised by his use of pop and fluro colour and spontaneous layering of floral motifs. His works are bright, wild and free, balancing dense pattern with quiet resolve. Brown has worked at Arts Project since the early 2000s and has exhibited extensively throughout Australia. He has work in the Artbank collection in Melbourne as well as private collections worldwide.
