Curated by Geoff Newton, of Neon Parc, Melbourne, Video Doctor opened at Arts Project Australia on Saturday. Guests were wowed by a huge selection of work by 13 Arts Project artists and International artists from Electronic Arts Intermix, New York. Only having just landed from a sojourn in Germany, Geoff Newton opened the show speaking about his inspiration for Video Doctor and of the artist’s proficiency in revisiting and remixing images and artifacts of popular culture. Check out the photos below taken by Penelope Hunt for a who’s who of Video Doctor enthusiasts!
We would like to give a big thankyou to Geoff Newton for creating this stunning exhibition. We would also like to thank Electronic Arts Intermix, New York for their video works. Also to the Ian Potter Museum of Art, NETS Victoria and Craft for their generous loan of display cases.

Gallery Assistant, Adriane Hayward. A little excited about Video Doctor.
